Square Peg Design is a full-service creative design company founded in 1996. From its beginning serving the design and print needs of a small core group of clients, SPD has grown to become a diversified creative resource with experience in all facets of advertising and marketing. Services offered include creative design, interactive design and development, photography, illustration, and copywriting.

The foundation of Square Peg Design is the communication of your needs and ideas directly to the designer without the potential for misinterpretation by a middleman.

Located in the northeastern United States, Square Peg Design serves a large and varied group of clients throughout America and Japan.

Rodney Boyce, Creative Director

An alumnus of Edinboro University, Mr. Boyce has over 30 years of experience in advertising and design. In 1996, he founded his own creative agency—Square Peg Design. His work has earned many honors, including Summit International Awards (SIA), American Advertising Federation (AAF) Addy Awards, and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Excellence in Communication Awards for both print and video.

Mr. Boyce and his family live in Pennsylvania’s scenic Laurel Highlands. He enjoys golfing, mountain biking, hiking, fine dining, and travel. Mr. Boyce’s Jack Russell terrier, Katie, is the studio mascot and provides an entertaining diversion.

During his spare time, Mr. Boyce has served as a District Deputy for the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, F. & A.M., and worked as a Deputy Executive Officer for Pennsylvania DeMolay, a service and leadership organization for young men between the ages of 12 and 21. Mr. Boyce is currently a Deputy Member of the International Supreme Council of the Order of DeMolay, the governing body for DeMolay International. He also eagerly serves on several advisory boards, councils, committees and associations. He is a dedicated civic leader and a tireless community volunteer.

In addition, Mr. Boyce is a part time Instructor of Graphic Design and Digital Illustration at the Douglas Education Center.
